Picture it. The year is 2018 in Huntington, WV. Emma and Drew are both signed up for a College Algebra class. The professor was from Russia and it was very hard to understand him. Immediately, Emma and Drew bonded over the class. Drew was always so kind to send Emma the notes from class when she was sick. At the time, it wasn't in the cards for Emma and Drew to be anything more than friends. However, God had a plan for them. The summer of 2019, the two started talking more. They had their first date at the Applebee's at the Huntington Mall. Emma and Drew started dating on August 31, 2019. If you'll remember that was right before COVID-19 hit. Through the pandemic, Emma and Drew would meet at the empty mall parking lot, six feet apart, and have lunch dates. They both brought yard chairs and practically yelled at each other to have conversations. Emma and Drew have had the pleasure to make so many memories from dancing in the rain, to playing so many rounds of Phase 10, to traveling around the East Coast. On March 16, 2023, which is Drew's Birthday, he proposed to Emma. She did not see it coming considering it was his birthday! This was the easiest yes Emma has ever had to say (after playfully saying shut up one or three times). Emma has always prayed for a God-fearing man, and she found that in Drew. No matter how much they may annoy each other, they will always stand by each other.
