It's all happening!

Blue apron, fresh pressed white coat, and the handsome young chef inside them caught Sarah's eye when she first set foot into The French Laundry's temporary kitchen. Jason would reveal months later that he too noticed her and remembered the beautiful red-head in the green blazer, wide-eyed and in awe of the kitchen. On their first date, not more than 10 days after officially meeting and getting to know each other in the moments between running Oysters and Pearls and reloading china into the fish station, Jason took Sarah on what she would later look back on as the most perfect first-date imaginable. The two fed apples to the wild longhorn cattle along the backroads of Yountville, drove to one end of town to the Veteran's Home, watched the sunset while drinking tea, built up Sarah's courage to try oysters again, walked through the garden while Jason fed Sarah the brightest herbs she had ever tasted, ended the night roasting s'mores on a wood burning stove inside the Airstream trailer that would be our home for the first year and a half of our life together.
