Aaron and I love this resort!! It's new, modern, luxurious and 5 stars. The food is incredible and the service was more than we could've imagined. The resort is smaller with only 315 rooms. Although the beach isn't swimmable, there are 8 pools including a rooftop infinity pool with insane views of the ocean. We have been twice and can't wait to get married here!
We love your kids, but please consider leaving them at home for this trip. Margs will be flowing.
1. Although payment includes all gratuities & taxes, we found that bringing some extra small American Dollars ($1's and $5's) is a great way to show appreciation to the staff who offer incredible service. Plan for around $20 a day. 2. The "food truck" at the resort is secretly the best menu. Try the smoked marlin tostada! 3. Breakfast is buffet style - see the hostess to get seated then grab some grub. 4. All food and drink require you to sign a check, even if it's one beer. This is because there is a European plan option where guests pay for all food and drink. This way, the staff can keep track of who is who. No worries though, all inclusive guests don't pay for a thing. 5. Want specific chairs at the pool? Get there early. Otherwise, head to the adults only rooftop. 6. The "carajillo" is Mexico's version of an espresso martini. 7. If you want to check out the town, Uber is plentiful and offers a cheap transportation option. Otherwise, check in with the front desk where they can set up private transportation. 8. Make dinner reservations before you fly out. You can do this on the resorts website. 9. Yes, all the toilet seats are warmed. 10. All room service is included in the all inclusive plan! Just plan for about 45min for it to arrive. Carly's tip: If you order a glass of wine to the room, they usually just bring the bottle! Party time! Please don't hesitate to reach out to Carly or Aaron for any other questions.
Transportation is included in your room booking. All information will go through Steve and he will help coordinate!
Aaron and I were very intentional when choosing this resort. All-inclusive here means all drinks/fresh juices/alcohol included. The alcohol selection here is superior to other resorts we've visited. All food included - yes even room service. All the snacks and beers in the room...included. Robes, slippers, personal butler for each room - yes we are serious. **Specialty items such as lobster, porterhouse steaks, and bottle of wine are available for an added charge.**
Garza Blanca has a 3 night minimum for booking with the wedding rate.
We have reserved room blocks for Junior Suite (2 Queens or 1 King with or without Ocean View), and 1 Bedroom Suites. If it makes sense for your group to book a 2 Bedroom Suite, please reach out to Steve as he will provide more information and pricing. The main difference between the Junior Suite and the 1 Bedroom Suite is that the 1 Bedroom Suite has a seating area, kitchen, and washer and dryer. It also has a sleeper sofa. All rooms have a balcony.
Round trip transportation is included in your room booking!
We have visited Cabo several times and have always felt safe! Garza Blanca is a gated resort and does not let anyone on the property unless they are guests or employees. If you are exploring downtown or the marina one day, most tourists have reported that they feel very safe.
