Even though they never crossed paths back in high school (Natalie at Apollo ‘14 and Charley at Sauk Rapids ‘13) and college (Both at SCSU and similar classes), they officially met each other online using a dating app and had their first date at Panera in January 2019. All along there was some Invisible string, tying you to me ❤️

Their trip to Glacier National Park in 2022, Charley and Natalie went on a hike to Avalanche Lake which takes about 3 hours round trip. When they reached their destination of the lake, Charley set up his tripod and camera. As he was taking test shots using his phone as a remote, he said “Natalie?” She turned towards him and said “Yeah?” Then Charley said “Will you marry me?” As he was getting down on one knee. (He was also taking lots of photos to capture the moment.) Natalie said “YES!” many times even before he could kneel all the way. It was a special moment only viewed by a few people since it happened early in the morning. The proposal made Glacier National Park a special landmark in their journey.
