If you are camping out with us, you are welcome to bring either a tent, hammock, or camper. Each campsite is allowed either a camper and tent, or two tents; they are paved sites for campers, with space for tents on grass. Each is also equipped with a water spigot and electric. There are more specifics about the campsite on their website: https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/232643?tab=campsites
If you are camping with us, bring any camping gear and overnight items that you need. If you are joining us for the morning festivities, please bring a lawn chair &/or picnic blanket as we will not have rental chairs on hand. If you have an America the Beautiful pass, bring that as well for free park access. Also, you are welcome to bring a board game or two to play with friends or to make new friends!
Yes! We will be at a state campground and day recreation park, so you are welcome to spend the day at the park regardless of whether or not we are present. There is a playground, water access for swimming or boating, and a basketball and volleyball court. Bring a packed lunch and come enjoy a weekend at the park!
There are multiple flush restrooms on the campgrounds, as well as access to hot showers. Each campsite also has water and electric access. For more specific info, you are welcome to check out their website: https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/232643?tab=campsites
No. We have reserved 16 campsites for our use, so they are already paid for. There is a $5 day use fee per vehicle, but let the worker know you are here for the wedding and you should be given access. If you have an America the Beautiful pass, that grants you free access as well! There is limited parking available so if you can, please carpool. Parking on the grass is strictly prohibited.
No; campsite reservations will open as soon as we send out the official invitations. Come back then and claim your site via our RSVP page.
No worries! While we have reserved 16 campsites for us, there are more campsites available on the grounds - they just may be a little further away from us. You are welcome to reserve a site via their website, listed on our Travel page; there are also nearby recommendations if there are no more sites available at Mill Creek, or if you would prefer a motel or cabin instead.
Yes! Please let us know if you have a food allergy and we will try our best to accommodate. There should be an option to note this on the RSVP form for the reception.
