Do I need a tourist visa to enter Australia?

Answer

Yes, a visa is required to enter Australia for up to 3 months. When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We request that final RSVPs be in by August 31; however, if you know your plans earlier, we would appreciate knowing them ASAP.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please aim to arrive at the Quayside Room at 4:45 for a 5:15 ceremony and enjoy the view of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please arrive in anything that satisfies both "cocktail attire" and "dancing friendly"!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Museum of Contemporary Art does not have designated parking. With its convenient location in the middle of Sydney's central business district, we recommend that you take advantage of the multiple public transport options available nearby.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please check the Travel tab for more information and discounts for local hotels. We recommend staying at one of the many hotels within walking distance of the MCA.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held in the MCA. Due to the proximity of the MCA to many nearby hotels, there will not be any formal transportation to and from the wedding venue. We have included some popular, convenient hotels in the Travel & Hotels tab of our website.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please strive to RSVP by August 31 so we can ensure you have a delicious meal that accommodates any allergies and other dietary requirements.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be time between the ceremony and reception to mingle, have some canapes, take photos, and enjoy live music. The reception with seated dinner will be held in the MCA's Harbourside Room (on the same floor) at approximately 6:45, so guests can drift over as they wish and enjoy an even more impressive view of Sydney Harbour.

Answer
