Did you know Rowan has hiked all over the United States with her best friend Jillian, the co-Maid of Honor? The 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail winds right past Hopewell Junction. Get up early on Saturday and take a hike! There are trailheads as close as 15 minutes away from the camp. Make sure you bring enough water!
The Dutchess Rail Trail is a 13-mile trail running alongside an abandoned railroad that stretches from the former Hopewell Junction train depot north to the Poughkeepsie entrance of the Walkway Over the Hudson. Maybe a better bet for those who like leisurely hikes.

The Dutchess Wine Trail connects Clinton Vineyards, Milea Estate Vineyard and Millbrook Vineyards & Winery, and leads you past the vineyards, orchards, and farms that provide the bounty of this beautiful valley. Make sure you check their websites, because reservations may be required for some tastings!
