Gabby was celebrating the Feast of The Assumption with her family and two best friends (Maggie and Bailey - now bridesmaids) in Little Italy. We were all enjoying food and drinks at one of the local restaurants for a few hours when some of the ladies needed to use the restroom. The owner had closed the restrooms that weekend due to the event so we were not allowed to use them. Long story short, anyone who knows David Gentile (Gabby's dad) knows he did not take this well. Gabby turned to her friends and told them to finish their drinks because she knew they were about to get kicked out. David proceeded to stand on a bar stool and argue with the 7 ft tall security guard until he announced "YOU GUYS ARE OUT OF HERE!" David was not going to let this ruin the night so he dropped Gabby and her friends off at their favorite neighborhood bar in downtown Cleveland, Map Room. Ross lived across the street at the time and happened to walk in shortly after. He also happened to be good college friends with Maggie and Bailey. He walked over to their table to say hi. Ross and Gabby were introduced and the rest is history.

Ross took Gabby on a day date scavenger hunt in the Cuyahoga Valley. We made several stops throughout the afternoon where we solved clues to lead us to our final destination, Sarah’s Vineyard. We shared a bottle of wine and took a walk through the vineyards where Ross got down on one knee and Gabby said, “yes”. It was so private, intimate and absolutely perfect ♥︎ Our close friends threw us an engagement party the next day at the place we first met, Map Room. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Cleveland! ♥︎♡
