Welcome BBQ

We'll be at the Retreat Center all day - so feel free to stop by before the official start time of the BBQ. 6:00pm-8:30pm: Welcome BBQ Dinner. Join us for dinner to kick off the weekend festivities at the Montague Retreat Center. We'll have hot dogs, burgers (including veggie options), shishkabobs, and salad. Bring anything you'd like to throw on the grill and BYOB. 8:30pm onwards: A bonfire! S'mores, silliness, and stars.

Swimming or Softball or Frisbee or Something Outside

Depending on the weather, we'll either play softball, go for a swim, play frisbee or something else outside. We'll share more details here closer to the date!
Shuttle Bus
3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
A shuttle bus (yellow school bus) will be operating to bring guests to/from the venue at the beginning and end of the evening. Stops will include Holiday Inn Express Hadley, Hotel UMass, Hampton Inn Greenfield and Red Roof Deerfield, but all guests should feel free to take advantage of the transportation! More stops possible, tbd.
The Main Event

Ceremony at 5pm Cocktails and snacks start at 5:45pm Dinner at 7:15pm (it's gonna be delicious food from Hillside Organic Catering!) Dancing to follow We'll exchange vows in a meadow beneath one of the oldest maple groves in Massachusetts, then we'll take a short walk downhill to the tented stone patio and Great Hall for a reception and party. Dress as you would for a fancy casual party in the forest, and please note that the walk to the ceremony site is a bit rugged, so wear comfortable footwear. (Tip from the bride - you can always change into fun shoes for the reception!)
