Our Story

Heartbreak can lead to true love . . .

We met at our CrossFit gym in 2019 where we both were in relationships at the time. We casually worked out together and said our pleasant hi and bye. I did although think to myself (Rosemary), "that girl who's with Tyler is seriously a lucky gal and I hope she knows that". Fast forward a few months *boom* Covid hits. It did a number to both our relationships and ultimately led to them ending (coincidentally 1 week apart). It was devastating and soul crushing for both of us. We thought we'd marry the previous person we were with but God had other plans. We're not mad about it! We both found ourselves single, vulnerable, and broken hearted and began casually chatting through social media. Several months passed and I said, "Hey! Let's hang out in person?” So we did. In Claremont, too! We met at Hotel Casa 425 Lounge and sat by the fire and enjoyed wine and shared flirty looks and laughs. "Gosh, he's so charming and funny!" I thought. We respectfully went our separate ways. It took us some time to see each other again. The pain was still so raw from our previous breakups. Fast forward 2 months, "Hey Tyler! It's Rosemary. Let's hang out again, yeah?" and so we did. Guess where? Yes, Claremont! We sat outside at Union on Yale and this time, Tyler made me laugh the ENTIRE TIME! "I didn't know you're so funny!" I told him. This was when I felt something in my stomach which were butterflies. "Oh gosh I think I LIKE him but I'm not ready to like someone!" Again, we said our polite goodbyes. Fast forward a few more months, "Hey Rosemary, it's Tyler, you wanna grab dinner and drinks?" How could I say no. "Yes, I would would LOVE to see you again (trying to keep it cool)." We met up again *here it comes* in CLAREMONT at a beautiful Cajun restaurant called The Quarter and had a romantic date. He walked in with a bright colored Hawaiian shirt by Tommy Bahama and I immediately thought "look at this cute, dork lol!" I would later find out, Hawaiian shirts are actually a thing. But I digress! This time, after dinner, I said, "You know what Tyler, I can't tell if you like me or not because you're hard to read. Do YOU like me?" *fingers crossed* and by the grace of God he said "YES, I do you're amazing." Okay, now we're getting somewhere! From then on, we would continue to have wonderfully romantic date nights in Claremont spending hours talking about anything and everything while sharing soft gazes and shy smiles. This is why Claremont is so special to us. It's where we fell in love. Now, we get to share the rest of our lives creating loving memories, making silly inside jokes, and building a family of our own. How did we get so lucky?!

For all the days along the way
