Loving someone is a leap of faith You are giving them your heart and trusting them not to break it..... No matter what happens I will still never regret making that leap for you
Jackie and I were introduced as friends through mutual friends who wanted to play "match maker". Little did they know Jackie and I attended school together and lost touch once our lives went in different directions. On our first lunch date we both couldn't help thinking "why is this our first date?" I was literally sitting down with my soulmate, best friend and counselor all wrapped into one. (Lucky me) When Jackie walked me to my car we went to part ways with a hug like always but this time it was different....much different....we both left and literally could not stop texting and talking about how excited we were about reuniting. A few days later Jackie called and asked could he pray for me (life was kicking our tail and God knew we needed each other) and of course my answer was yes but i never expected him to do so on the phone. About a month passed we went on various outings and then I told Jackie i no longer wanted to be friends (his prayer showed me he was meant to be my mate).....he was upset initially but when I explained to him that I also had prayed over our friendship as well. God showed me my prayers had been answered but I had to take the next step because His work was done. I asked Jackie to date exclusively and we have been inseperable ever since. From that point on I let Jackie lead! He made it very clear what his intent was as far as marriage and a family and God handled the rest. i love to tell everyone about how i'm literally marrying my best friend because sometimes we miss out on the best things in life because of doubt when your "happily ever after" may be a lunch date away.
