How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

There are a lot of places in "The Valley," meaning near Sugarbush, Warren and Waitsfield.  We don't recommend staying there because it is a gnarly trip over the mountain on a partially dirt road. Instead, best to focus on Northfield, Montpelier, Barre, or Berlin.  These towns are within a 30-minute drive.  

There are a block of rooms reserved in the Capital Plaza in Montpelier. Rooms are nice and lots of shops + restaurants within walking distance. Call (802) 223-5252 and ask for the Virzi/Thackeray block to reserve here.

Other places are:

Comfort Inn at Maplewood (Berlin).  Nice mid-range hotel, clean rooms, but not much within walking distance.  

Firehouse Inn (Barre).  5 rooms, with a neat bar/restaurant on the first floor. 

Reynolds House B&B (Barre).  Restored house with a wraparound porch. 5 rooms.

The Inn at Montpelier. Smaller B&B type place.

There are also many AirBnB or VRBO places in the key towns,  everything from a single room with shared bath to a whole house.
