Meet us in Puerto Rico!

The best way to begin to tell Antonio & Rosie’s story is the red thread theory. “The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances.” After Rosie’s graduation, she took a girls trip to Puerto Rico with her sister. They wanted to let loose and have one last break before starting college. After the first few nights there, Rosie met Antonio at a local Bar in Juana Diaz. Once they began talking, they realized they had actually known each other for well over a decade. Their families had long ties that went as far back as before either of them were born. It was by fate that they both happened to be there at the same time, given Rosie lived out of Puerto Rico and Antonio wasn’t a big fan of going out! (Still isn’t a fan…) From that day on they never let go! They began their relationship through long distance. Antonio would travel every few months to Michigan and Rosie did the same. They continued for several years doing long distance until Lucas came into their lives. Antonio moved to Michigan and they have been together for 7 beautiful years.

Antonio made every effort to make the proposal as special as possible for Rosie! At the gender reveal party for their baby, soon after finding out the baby’s gender Antonio popped the question. He sent Rosie on a scavenger hunt at his house for her to find clues until making it to the last clue which she eventually turned around to find the ring in his hand. It was a magical day for Rosie as she couldn’t believe it took him as long as it did!
