FAQs

If you have any other questions that aren't covered here, feel free to reach out to the bride and groom, or the parents! They've all been here and can definitely help out!
Question

Is this a child free wedding?

Answer

Yes - we love the kiddos in our lives, but we want to PARTY! We hope that our advanced notice will let you take a night off too!

Question

Which events am I invited to?

Answer

Due to venue constraints, our rehearsal dinner and ceremony are VERY small. Our reception on the other hand is a party for all! When we send formal invites in May/June, you will receive information about all of the events you’ll be a part of specifically! Please know that we deeply appreciate your willingness to come and support us and we understand this can be disappointing. We had to make some tough decisions and this was the way we could include the most people in the best ways. Thank you for your understanding and we can’t wait to celebrate with you soon!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you receive your RSVP card, it will be filled out with the number of people you are allowed to bring. Please abide by this number otherwise you will be standing in the back without any dinner!

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Our theme is glitzy, groovy, glam! Wear something that you can dance in and you feel awesome in! Think semi-formal - please no jeans or white/cream/light fabric dresses.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of street parking at Revolution Hall! If you need to park in the lot, there is a $10 charge. There is also plenty of access to Uber/Lyft and public transit if you don't wish to drive.

Question

Didn't you get into an iconic argument about double decker sandwiches?

Answer

We sure did! We not only had this argument on our own, Riley submitted it to the New York Times. It was subsequently published and confirmed that Riley was right! Here's the link: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/19/magazine/judge-john-hodgman-on-sandwich-ness.html

Question

Who's funnier?

Answer

We can't ever say it, but Rory MIGHT be. This would go to his already giant head though.

For all the days along the way
