Food, Music, & Beer: Portland Lobster Company
One of our favorite spots! They typically have live music on weekends and a great bar stocked with local Maine beer. This is located in the heart of the Old Port atop a dock - so it's all outside. No reservations. Fun fact: Hannah and both her cousins worked here over their summers!
Food & Drink: Flatbread Company
One of my favorite salads - add goat cheese! If you take a ferry tour, this is the perfect stopover after. Rory likes their "outrageous" beer list. Good for groups! They take reservations.
Food & Drink: Eventide Oyster Co.
Upscale, classic Maine bites - founded by a Bates grad. There are three or four delicious spots right in this strip.
Food & Drink: Gritty McDuff's Brew Pub
It's not a trip to Portland without a stop here - right in the center of the Old Port.
Food & Sightseeing: The Lobster Shack at Two Lights
The quintessential spot to grab a lobster roll!
Sight Seeing: Fort Williams Park
Located directly next to my family home! This is home to old bunkers and the most photographed lighthouse in the country. Easy walking trails and incredible views of the island. Hannah's mom swears by the "Bite into Maine" lobster roll - the best in the Portland area.
Shopping: Freeport Outlets
Another Maine staple - take a picture at the enormous LL Bean boot! About a 20 min drive from Portland up 295.

Food & Sightseeing: Chebeague Island Inn
This beautiful inn has special memories for Hannah! There is 45 minute ferry that takes off from Portland. Recommended to make lunch reservations & walk around (note: there is nothing else on the island but beautiful summer homes and beaches).
