Flight

Airports

You can fly into either of the Paris airports: Orly (ORY) or Charles De Gaulle (CDG) There is also an airport in Nantes – the nearest big city. It seems like flights into this airport are much more expensive but it never hurts to check.

Rental Car

Travel by Car

You can rent a car from either airport or within Paris and the drive should be about 5 hours

Train

Travel by Train

You can find all the trains at sncf-connect.com (tickets are available about 2.5 months in advance). Below are some potential itineraries depending on where you’re leaving from. The SNCF (national railroad service–think AmTrak but better) has an app where you can access your tickets, or purchase them from within the app. From Orly you can catch a high-speed train (TGV) from Massy-TGV to Nantes then a regional train from Nantes to La Mothe-Achard. You will have to Uber or take a bus between Orly and Massy. The bus is the 91-10 bus. It comes every 30-60 minutes depending on time of day. Follow signs for buses/ground transport There should be kiosks inside the terminal or at the bus station where you can buy your ticket (2,50€). Orly to Massy train station is about 30 minutes Massy train station to Nantes is about 2 hours Train from Nantes to La Mothe-Achard is about 1 hour (this is also about 1 hour by car too) From CDG you can catch a high-speed train from within the airport to go to Nantes and then a regional train from Nantes to La Mothe-Achard. - Train from CDG to Nantes is about 3 hours - Train from Nantes to La Mothe-Achard is about 1 hour (this is also about 1 hour by car too) From within Paris, you can take the train from Montparnasse, you can go directly to Roche-sur-Yon or Sables d'Olonne (both are about a 20 minute drive to the venue) From within Paris, you can also take the train from Montparnasse to Nantes and then La Mothe-Achard.
