Roman and Daniela meet at Fort Benning, Georgia at their unit's warehouse the day he had his breath taken away from him for the last time. There he was, working on ProPacks when Daniela walked in; glowing with beauty and ambition. Roman was too stunned by her radiance to speak but they exchanged a playful look and innocent smiles. This immediate attraction and banter followed them into a harsh deployment that tested both their patience and temperament with and around each other. Upon their return, tensions eased and they became a little less coiled around each other. In this environment of relaxation, a comfortability grew and the closer they came the more comfortable they felt. This blossomed into a beautiful symphony of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control that describes their relationship today.

During the Christmas of the 2022 year Roman and Daniela were celebrating the joy of world how Christ had changed our lives for the better. Daniela had always been a huge giver in her life and continues to be the most selfless person. Roman had already come to the decision that Daniela is the person i wanted to spend my life with because.... well you've met her... she is amazing. When Daniela gave me above and beyond any gift I ever wanted I gave her a hug and right then the dog jumped up to join us and my heart absolutely melted and the thought of all I ever wanted in this world in right in my arms. I knew at that moment I could not wait any longer. There started the rest of our lives together and I got down on one knee and proposed. Kneeling there shaking, knowing that all I want is at my fingertips and I'm powerless to the outcome was I was nervous to the core. But when she said yes and her eyes lit up it was like a nuclear bomb of joy and happiness flooded over me and a rush of energy surged my body like I was born again into an unconditional love of a family we were soon to start and the lives we had to live together with God as our witness and leader.
