They met at a gin&tonic night at a mutual friend's house sometime in 2018 (they both have terrible memories so neither can remember when exactly this was). Their initial meeting was nothing to write home about. They exchanged names, he thought she was cute, she pretended she would never be interested, they sipped on cocktails, and parted ways. Yet the world would keep bringing them back to the same places and events... game night after game night with friends, casual hang outs, birthday celebrations, couples showers, etc. Little did Tessa know, a mutual friend had been planting seeds in Jeremy's heart to ask her out (thanks, Brittany Hinzo!) while the Lord was doing a work on her own heart to get her ready for her fairytale relationship. (She always tell her nieces that Jeremy is her "Prince Charming".) Fast forward to August 3, 2019 on a beautiful summer's eve. They both were attending a wedding (separately) for their friends Ryan Hacker and Alexandra Giacoletti. This was the last time Brittany had to encourage Jeremy to ask Tessa out. He waited till she was alone, mustered up the courage, joined her at her table, told her she looked beautiful and wondered if she would get coffee with him sometime. Tessa, panicking internally because she did NOT see this coming, croaked a faint "sure?" and the rest is history. They went on dates, made it official, survived the pandemic together, and on February 28th, 2021 decided they wanted to do life by each other's side for the rest of their days. They can't WAIT to tie the knot on Saturday, September 18th!
