Eric & Rochelle connected on the dating app, Hinge, on September 1st, 2018. At the time Rochelle lived in West Town & Eric lived in Wicker Park. On the app, Eric was smitten by Rochelle’s boating photo & Rochelle found Eric’s photo with a Llama too sweet to walk away from. The Hinge app stars aligned and the two matched! Shortly after matching, Eric boldly asked Rochelle out to Saturday brunch & the rest is history!

How We Met

Living in Austin, TX at the time Eric & Rochelle took a trip back to Chicago for St. Patricks weekend to enjoy the city & see the river dyed green. Prior to the festitives,  Eric persuaded Rochelle to go out for drinks & dinner Friday night in Wicker Park - recreating their 2nd date at both the Violet Hour & the Rooftop at the Robey. Upon arriving at the Robey, little did Rochelle know friends & family were there to surprise her & witness Eric's proposal.
