LOVE FOR OURSELVES. LOVE FOR EACH OTHER. 4 years ago we found each other and our souls knew that this was it. No matter the challenges, our love has always shone brightly and we know no other home like each other's arms. Our love makes our hearts sing. It causes us to laugh, cry, dance, and get lost in the moment. We feel safe and supported within it, and it enables us to emerge as our truest and most resourced selves. We complete each other like two halves united. Our strengths, each others weaknesses and thus better together. We got engaged at Burning Man on Saturday, September 3rd at 11:50pm. Rocco was inspired by this unique and epic gathering that is beautiful, yet challenging. Alongside the awing experience, inspirational art and manifestation filled flow...it is hard. Your bike breaks down, a dust storm rolls in, asking you to rely on strength deep within to come out on top. Our love is similar. It's not easy, it's painful sometimes, and it pushes our edges. We've had to fight for our love when most everyone else doubted it. Simultaneously, our love is magnificent, joy filled and epically inspiring. We accept the challenges because we desire to thrive with each other. And the gift is a life ever-filled with rainbows, just like Burning Man. Together we engage our effervescent zest for life fully. We have found a playfulness unlike any other which brings constant moments of laughter, innocence, joy and freedom of expression. We love being with our families, friends, and our furry son, Zuko, more than almost anything. We aim to be an example of how colorful love can be and we spread our love by bringing people together in connected, uplifting and inspiring ways through music and adventures in nature. We commit to learning everyday to become better individuals and partners, more compassionate, kind, and selfless. We choose one another based on the knowing that our lives will forever be more beautiful merged as one. As Aly's father often says, "An experience shared is more profound". We choose us. We choose unconditional love. Forever and always.

Aly & Rocco were introduced to each other by their mutual friend John Ripley, who is one of Rocco’s groomsmen and an integral person in both their lives. Aly was on her way to Nevada City, CA and happened to be passing through Utah, so she reached out to her longtime friend JR about staying over for the night. Rocco at the time was shooting a TV series with JR called RoknRip, which was shot, written, and stars both Rocco and JR, which you can find on Youtube. Aly & Rocco met that night out at a dance club and Rocco’s first words to Aly were, “You are so beautiful.” They danced, laughed and Aly was captured by how Rocco embodied himself in such a unique, free-spirited, and playful way. The next morning they got to spend more time together over brunch, sharing life stories, learning more about one another, all while soaking in the hot tub. As Aly was saying her goodbyes and preparing to continue her journey to California, Rocco gave her a kiss which lead to a flirtatious comment that quite obviously let Aly know he was interested. As she began her drive, Aly was overcome by intuition. She was not supposed to leave for California that day. She pulled over, meditated and decided she must go back, although she didn’t know exactly why. The answer clearly came to her when Rocco found her journaling on the couch and said with great excitement “You came back!" He asked her out right there on the spot to have sushi that night and to spend the whole day with him. She of course said YES! That day they went for a walk through fall leaves, watched movies, and learned more about one another. This was the start of Rocco & Aly’s beautiful journey of life together. Rocco called and FaceTimed Aly everyday while she was in California. On her Journey back to Boulder, CO from Nevada City, she made the stop again in Utah to see Rocco. The next four days together included starlit nights, soaking in hot springs, adventuring in the Moab red rocks and of course…more magical dances together, which is one of their most profound love languages and something that they enjoy endlessly. Four years later, their connection has beautifully strengthened through their shared life journey and deep love for one another. Their furry puppy, Zuko, has made them a true family unit and these 3 are elated to take this epic step into the future hand in hand in paw.
