The Wedding Website of Robyn Baumgartner and Thomas Matthews
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the Toms: Beach Casual Wedding. The venue has both a dance floor and a sandy beach. For the Robyns: we're looking for sexy, we're looking for fun, were looking for flirty, we're looking for dance-ability! You're going to the wedding of two totally hot people.. in Mexico. Have fun with it! But for real, we want you to feel comfortable, and confident. :)

Question

What is your gift expectation?

Answer

None! Your time, presence, and undivided attention is enough for us. If you feel inclined to show us some extra lovin', see our "Registry" tab!

Question

Are my children invited?

Answer

Only if their names are on your invites.

Question

What is the temperature going to be like?

Answer

Tulum in February is typically 65-85 degrees F. You are going to look hot without being too hot. Make sure to drink lots of water, and bring your sun layers! Sun showers are possible but not frequent.

Question

What's the scoop with shoes?

Answer

Our wedding venue is located on the beach. The ceremony space will be sandy, so we do not recommended stilletos, because you will sink. The dinner area and parts of cocktail hour will be on flooring, however the dance floor is primarily sand. Wear whatever is comfy! But if you don't want to look super short next to Tom, maybe wear at least a little lift. lol

Question

When will the bride and groom be in tulum?

Answer

We are planning to arrive Wednesday before the wedding, and stay until Friday, 2/9. We would love if you stayed and explored Tulum with us too! Let us know if you plan to stay!

Question

Can I drink the water?

Answer

No. Drink only bottled water. Most places in the area serve bottled water by default. It is recommeded that you go to the super market and get a giant jug, or multiple bottles to store in your room to use.

Question

Currency and Cash Money

Answer

Dollars as as ubiquitous as Pesos. You should have cash on you at all times, even if just $20, because ATMs aren't easy to find and lots of things like parking are cash-only. Most places will have an exchange charge, so if you plan on being out, i would take some pesos with you

Question

Is "party-hard" mandatory?

Answer

We are so excited to party with you all! We are looking for the following: good vibes, good music, and even better company. There will be an open bar, and an open dance floor. Catch Robyn twerkin' to the Reggaeton, catch Tom laughing on the beach lounge, or vice versa! Or both! We cannot wait to have the best celebration with you!
