Hotel Information

Our wedding will be at Lions Park in the hills of Carpinteria, CA, about a 20-minute drive from Ventura. We recommend staying in Ventura since most of our family and friends are close by, but you are welcome to stay wherever you'd prefer! We do not have a hotel block anywhere, so please don't feel pressured to stay anywhere specific. Here are some hotels that we recommend in Ventura, but keep in mind there are many more you can choose from! Carpinteria is a very cute and quaint little beach town, but we are not familiar with the hotels. Crowne Plaza: The Crowne Plaza is right on the beach near the Ventura Pier and a short walk to downtown Ventura. The hotel is steps away from Ventura State Beach. You'll be about a 20-minute drive to the wedding venue. Ventura Beach Marriott: The Marriott is very close to Ventura Harbor and the beach. You would be about a 25-minute drive from the wedding venue. There is a shuttle that takes you directly to and from LAX if you need to fly. Pierpont Inn: The Pierpont Inn is a historic boutique hotel just steps away from the beach in Ventura. You will be a bit more secluded from the action than other hotels but just a short drive to downtown. This hotel has a rose garden, nice tennis and pickleball courts, and is located on a bluff on the beach.

Venue Location and Directions

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Lions Park in Carpinteria, CA. There should be plenty of parking, but please carpool if possible. The address to the venue is 6197 Casitas Pass Road, Carpinteria, CA 93013. Directions: 1. Take the 101 Freeway 2. Exit at Casitas Pass Road (86 A) 3. Travel towards the mountains 4. Turn right on Foothill Road/Casitas Pass Rd 5. Lion's Park will be on your right (after about a mile)
