Travel Note
Queridisimos friends and family, getting to Eagle Pass requires some driving after flying into either San Antonio (2.5 hrs) or Austin (3.5 hrs). For the sake of saving on car rentals, reducing our carbon footprint, and have some super fun bonding time(!) we created this spreadsheet with 3 sheet options of travel coordinating: SAT > EP, ATX > EP and the bold NOLA > EP roadtrip. Check it out, add your details if you wish and we hope y'all find a fun ride down! We will be providing a playlist for everyone and road trip recommendations will be forthcoming!
Flight
SAT Airport is the easiest and closest airport to fly to, to get to Eagle Pass. If you're flying in, you can rent a car and the drive down is 2.5 hours. Click below for the SA > EP carpool list.
Flight
If you're wanting to hang in Austin before driving down, ATX is a good airport and EP is only a three and a half hour drive away. Click below for the ATX > EP carpool list. Also, we love to pick up some P.Terry's burgers before our drive down and highly recommend for those who haven't had the pleasure.
Hotel
Welcome to La Frontera! We're so excited to get everyone here to visit. We're a tiny border town so we have modest accommodations. The Hampton Inn is closest to the highway entrance of town and has warmly welcomed us. To book, call and ask for the Ross/Flores wedding discounted group rate. (Must book by September 15 to access the group rate). Below are some other options in town. $149/night
Travel Note
We have also made a list of some available Airbnbs in town if you prefer to get together with friends and rent a house. If you have any questions on location, feel free to reach out to alex@ambientefilms.com, but we recommend to stay closest to the center of town (which is the closest to the river).

Hotel
This hotel is in Piedras and it is the closest to Bridge 1. It is walking distance to the bridge. This stay would require international bridge travel and customs and Border Patrol check point when you travel back to Eagle Pass. You'll need your passport. There is also always the possibility of longer wait times on the bridge if you are driving your own car. If you decide to stay in Piedras, feel free to reach out to Alex Flores for any questions about crossing and getting around - alex@ambientefilms.com This hotel has no website, but reservations can be made over the phone.
