Dustin and Samantha are college sweethearts. Their first interaction was at the SFA library when Dustin came in for homework help, and Samantha was the tutor on duty. Shortly after, it seemed like Dustin and Samantha kept running into each other; outside Hall 20, the Cafeteria, and more. One night Dustin ran into Samantha outside Hall 20. He asked where she was headed to. Samantha was headed to Banita, the country dance hall in Nacogdoches. Dustin asked, "Should I go?" Samantha told him, "Sure!". Samantha and Dustin danced the night away at Banita, not knowing it was the start of something great. Since then, their love has only grown. Samantha and Dustin are excited to celebrate their love with you on June 3, 2023.

Dustin and Samantha got engaged on April 3, 2021. Dustin spent weeks in preparation by clearing the perfect spot at the SFA azalea gardens to propose to Samantha. The proposal was meant to be a surprise for Samantha. Both families of Dustin and Samantha were in Nacogdoches for various reasons that day. Samantha was planning on taking graduation photos, and Dustin was getting baptized later that evening. While taking graduation photos, Samantha's dad suggested getting some pictures in SFA's azalea gardens. Samantha went with her family to the gardens thinking they would get some pictures, but to her surprise, she found a trail of rose petals that led to a beautiful display where Dustin was. Dustin got on one knee and asked Samantha to marry him. Dustin and Samantha cannot wait to be joined as husband and wife!
