What is Black Tie Optional attire?

Answer

Black-tie optional means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (think: an evening gown or tuxedo) but can also choose to wear a cocktail dress or a dark colored suit instead. Please, no white or white hues as that is reserved for Melinda. What's the difference between Secrets and Dreams?

Answer

Secrets is the adults-only side, while Dreams is the family-friendly side. Guests of Secrets will have access to both the Secrets resort side and the Dreams side, while adults booking in Dreams can purchase a day pass to access the Secrets side. Our wedding events will take place at locations that guests from both resorts can access.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation for the Wedding Ceremony and Reception. Thank you for not bringing a guest that is not indicated on your invitation.

Hotel Transfers from the Airport

Answer

There are a number of options available for getting from Puerto Vallarta Airport to the Hotel. You can book a shared or private transfer directly from the Hotel by managing your booking and selecting “Add Services”. For large parties with a lot of luggage, this scheduled transfer may be the best option. A second option is to use a taxi service that can be purchased from the various ticketing offices at the Airport and these ticketing locations take major credit cards. Uber is a third option; however, Uber cannot pick you up at the Airport itself and you will have to meet the rideshare vehicle off-property.

Currency Exchange

Answer

While the hotel is all-inclusive, and a lot of locales in town take major credit cards, we have found it helpful on our Puerto Vallarta visits to carry miscellaneous cash for tipping the staff at the Hotel and for miscellaneous expenses in town. The Puerto Vallarta Airport will offer foreign currency exchange offices as well as ATMs. However, the best exchange rate we have seen has been at the Hotel itself and they will exchange your currency including Dollars and Euros at the front desk during check-in.

Hyatt Inclusive Collection App

Answer

We recommend that you download the Hyatt Inclusive Collection App as it has been very helpful on our visits. The App will provide all relevant hotel information including a Hotel Map, daily activity information, restaurant and bar hours, room service orders, and housekeeping and maintenance requests. Additionally, you can also book extra services such as Cabanas, Spa Services, and Private Dinners.

When should I book my stay?

Answer

We encourage our guests to book as early as possible to ensure that you get your preferred room accommodations. Additionally, as it is likely that the hotel will be fully booked, and since you need to be a guest of the hotel in order to attend, we are asking that our guests book as soon as possible.

Is there a room block or a discount code for the hotel?

Answer

No, we do not have a room block set aside for our guests nor a discount code. However, the hotel is part of the World of Hyatt rewards and can offer discounted rates via that rewards membership.
