Rob and Lori started messaging on Hinge, which moved to texting and phone calls. Rob convinced Lori to meet him for lunch, despite her broken elbow and bright purple cast. Lori showed up to Bar Louie in camo shorts and a Butler t-shirt, claiming that nicer clothing was too hard to put on over the cast, and ordered a meal that did not require the use of both hands. She has since learned that Rob would have willingly cut her food for her.
