Eastern Market
Only open on Saturdays, Eastern Market has been around for 125 years. This farmer's market has over 200 vendors.
Detroit Institute of Arts
The DIA's collection is among the top six in the United States, with more than 65,000 works. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the museum.
Michigan Central
Closed since 1988, the Detroit Train Station just re-opened in 2024 after years of refurbishment. Check the website for visitor information and tour availability.
Detroit RiverWalk
Enjoy a morning or afternoon walk along the Detroit River. The river walk extends ~ 3 miles and has various plazas and parks along the route.
MGM Casino
If you like to gamble, Detroit has three casinos - MGM, Greektown, and MotorCity. Recommend MGM.
