How far is the reception from the wedding location?

About an 11 minute walk, cir. one-half mile. In a car, about 3-4 minutes. Here are the walking directions from Google Maps, which we recommend you pull up on your phone: From 514 E 41st St., Savannah, GA 31401: Head east on E 41st St toward E Broad St; 0.2 mi. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit(you will be walking down the concrete, palm tree-lined promenade, with Atlantic Ave. on both sides)0.3 mi Destination will be on the left: Tiedeman Park, Savannah, GA 31405

Where do we park?

Answer

Good man, Brad Baugh, owner of a parking lot on 41st St.--in the adjacent block between Habersham and Price Streets--has agreed to allow our estimable guests to park in the lot. Once you turn off of either Habersham or Price, you will see an insurance broker's office on the south side of the street, and a parking lot on the north side. The Green Truck delicious hamburger restaurant immediately borders the parking lot on the north side. You can enter the parking lot from two different access points on the north side of E. 41st. Our house is in the next block, going East. Cross Price Street, and our house is the fourth house on the left. If you drive directly to the ceremony, you can park along the edges of Tiedeman Park.

Where do we go for Savannagrams?

Answer

Daffin Park. A mile from our house: about a 20 minute walk, or five minute drive. It's a large park, and James Holmes will have to reserve a place for our festivities on Wedding Day; we will have a real time update on that day, with printed directions.
