I guess you can call it fate or may opt to say faith since it was at church where these lovers met. But no need to worry, it’s not your usual love story, just read along and I’m sure you’ll see that, I bet! You see it was back in 2016, when Mr. LaRoda first saw Miss Dean as they were introduced by his Uncle Chris. Just like Magic, he provided the assist for Landy to shoot his shot, and he didn’t miss. And that was the beginning of their courtship, but Landy had to go back to Freeport and so things went adrift until it finally rifted. Savannah was no longer present but she left an everlasting gift, and like every good story, you have to hang your readers on a cliff. Savannah went off to school as Landy relocated to Nassau, and although she was faraway, part of her remained in his core. Even though the romantic relationship didn’t work out, they maintained a good friendship but there were still feelings being exercised, no doubt. Fast forward to 2019, and again I guess you can say by fate or maybe by faith, an opportunity was provided for them to reconvene. This time the scene was Long Island for a summer mission trip, where the platonic element of their relationship would eventually be eclipsed. Under the starry night, they had a heart to heart, and mutually decided they’d be apart. For their lives seemed to be going in different directions, despite deep down wanting to be each others selections. After the trip was over and they returned to Nassau, they both realized that it was each other that they truly adored. They went on several dates before she went back to school, as he said to himself, to let this go, “I’d be a fool!” He couldn’t stand to not see her, feelings were surging like the ocean and God had begun to set things in motion So Landy told Savannah he wanted to give her his devotion, and fully embraced all of his emotions. The relationship started in December 2019 as Landy was confident that he wanted her to be his queen. Their relationship reached a new level in November 2022, When Landy proposed and charted the path for them to now say to each other, “I Do!”
