Brittany and Courtlan met at a Dussé sponsored event at TNT Tacos & Tequila in December 2017. Brittany attended the event with her visiting bestfriend/line sister/bridesmaid, Brenesha. They noticed Courtlan from afar. Brenesha eagerly encouraged (more like forced) Brittany to approach him. Brittany being the woman that she is KNEW that she would not approach a man but something in her (blame it on the alcohol) told her to make a pass at this gorgeous man. Brittany approached Courtlan nervously and said “you should give me your number”. Courtlan did and the rest was history. SIKE! Over the next three months, Courtlan texted Brittany multiple times and received one word responses. Courtlan was confused so he asked Brittany, "Are you always this boring? Or is it just me?" April 2018 they went on their first date to Top Golf. They had a great time although Courtlan was a little concerned that Brittany had a list (literally) of questions prepared. After the first date they were inseperable and the rest was history. ❤️

Brittany always wanted to go to Tulum, MX. Courtlan made it happpen by booking a randon trip to Tulum. Before the trip bestfriend and bridesmaid, Danielle, asked Brittany if she thought Courtlan would propose. Brittany’s immediate response was, “No! When would he have time to buy a ring?” Brittany had no idea what was going to happen. On the day of travel Courtlan was very awkward and quiet. At the time Britt didn’t know Courtlan had the ring in his carry on. The second day of vacation they had lunch and drinks at the beach. Courtlan suggested to take photos in the Caribbean Sea. Courtlan took Brittany’s hand and told Brittany something was missing...he got on one knee and asked Brittany to marry him. 💍
