Question

What should I expect with a National Park wedding?

Answer

Amber and RJ are having a planned elopement because we couldn't imagine our day without each of you! Here are some NPS guidelines to follow: No Decorations No Music No Glass No Flowers No Seating No Speakers The park asks all guests to "leave no trace." This means any trash brought with you needs to leave with you and to stay on the designated paths.

Question

Do we need reservations or passes into the park?

Answer

Reservations are not required for the weekdays in Septembers. However we will give everyone a copy of our wedding permit incase there are any issues getting into the park. There is a $35 per vehicle National Park fee.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will start the ceremony promptly at 9:30am. Getting to the park takes a minimum of 1 hour, please give yourself an ample amount of time to find parking and walk to the ceremony site.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure an intimate gathering that captures the essence of our special day, we are requesting that our guests do not bring a plus one unless explicitly indicated by RJ and Amber. If you're not sure if you can bring a plus one, while RSVPing there will be an option to add your plus one if you have one.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Garden Semi-Formal: Light-colored suits and gowns are welcome, and so are dress shirts and mid-length dresses. Even though we will be in a park, we ask that you still look your best! No hiking attire, athleisure, or jeans. (If you plan on hiking in the park after, you may want to bring these items to change into.)

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

In order to fully immerse ourselves in the moment and create an intimate ambiance, we kindly request that our guests participate in an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from using electronic devices, such as phones, cameras, or tablets during the ceremony. Our professional photographer will expertly capture all the precious moments! With that being said, take as many photos during the reception as you'd like!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by May 15th.

Question

What if I have further questions?

Answer

We know we are having an unconventional wedding and there will be lots of questions that we did not answer. We appreciate everyone going with the flow, so please feel free to text or call Amber and RJ with any questions.
