Our crazy friends decided to have a birthday bash in Rosarito, Mexico. They managed to get 30 of us to hop the border and rent out two AirBnb's on the ocean. The first morning, we were the first two people up. Amanda was cooking eggs. Josh was opening a beer. We sparked up a conversation immediately about birthright (a trip to Israel offered at no cost to young Jewish people to explore and learn more about our culture) amongst other things, and we spent the whole day chatting. We danced the night away at Papas y Beer and walked a mile back just the two of us to the AirBnb. We were non-stop talking, laughing and enjoying great drinks. When we got back, Josh suggested we go in the hot tub. It was "closed", so we went in anyways and the complex security caught us, fined us, and kicked us out! There goes $50! But worth every penny. We continued to learn about each other, work through our long distance relationship, and during COVID, lived together with Amanda's family. Through all the ups and downs, we've been there for each other, and will continue to be there for the rest of our lives. We're so excited to get married and share in the celebrations with all of you!
