When asked about how they met, Hozzie and Riley always reply "it's a funny story!"  Both grew up in Mequon, WI, both attended University School of Milwaukee, and both attended Miami University (OH). But it wasn’t until after college that their paths finally crossed.   Because Riley transferred to USM her sophomore year, Hozzie had already graduated before Riley became a Wildcat. For years, they only knew about each other through friends, eventually meeting while both living downtown Milwaukee.  In true MKE fashion, their first date was at Camp Bar Third Ward. With shared passions for Milwaukee, Miami, and camp, it’s no surprise that they fell for each other fast - spending practically each day together before finally moving in and adopting a puppy together. Only a month after these two huge milestones, Hozzie proposed to Riley on the Fourth of July. They are both so excited and thankful to be celebrating with you on August 29th!
