Sawa is a Civil Society Organization born from a response to the arrival of the first Syrian refugee families in northern Lebanon. Sawa's mission encompasses a wide spectrum of critical interventions: refugee support, violence prevention and response, women's empowerment, and youth education. 

With a particular emphasis on child protection and combating gender-based violence, Sawa implements targeted programs addressing pressing issues such as child marriage. Their comprehensive approach also includes providing education, psychological support, and vocational training to Syrian refugees and other vulnerable populations.
