Richard and Rebekka met in high school (2012) where they quickly became friends. They shared some of the same friends, and had German class together for two years. Once high school was over (2014), Richard joined the military and Rebekka went to college. Until June 2020, the two hadn't talked for over six years. Rebekka reached out to Richard through social media, and they began dating shortly after reconnecting. Throughout the beginning of their relationship, Rebekka was attending graduate school and Richard was adjusting to civilian life. After Rebekka graduated from school, they moved to Southern Maryland where they currently live with their wonderful cats named Nova & Boots, and their cute bearded dragon called Biscuit!

We would like to take a moment to remember and commemorate the people who could not be there with us on our special day.
