In July of 2019 we ventured to Italy on a trip of a lifetime. In hopes of forever remembering our experience, journaled at night, noting what we ate, drank, and discovered – each day listing a highlight. After our return from Italy and a decade of love, Richard dropped to one knee on the Cliff Walk in Newport, RI, a destination that is near and dear to us. On the Cliff Walk, Richard handed Kelsey the journal from Italy and opened it to the last page. Instead of reading about their recent trip, Kelsey read about their journey as a couple – the past, present, and aspirations for the future. The highlight of August, 31, 2019 was the beginning of a lifetime together.
