Please RSVP by September 7, 2024 -- Invites were sent through paperless post via email or text message, please check for that and respond via the 'will attend' or 'will not attend' buttons or just send one of us a message letting us know if you can make it or not!
Please do! Invitations that went out to guests included a "Total attending" section of the RSVP, if you're bringing a plus one, feel free to increment that field so that 'total attending' is 2. (Or just show up with a friend or date!)
Friday, October 4th, we'll be hanging out at Threes Brewing in Gowanus, Brooklyn from around 5pm to about 8pm as a casual welcome event. We don't have the space reserved or anything, but if you're in from out of town or already live in town and looking to add to the weekend, come hang out!
The doors of the venue open up to guests at 5:30pm and we will be conducting the ceremony soon after.
We've rented out Gran Electrica, a Mexican restaurant and tequila bar in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood. We'll have a brief wedding ceremony in the restaurant's back patio (weather permitting) and then start passing canapés, turning on the music, and partying!
We're serving an omnivorous selection of canapés all night, along with a chips and salsa/guacamole station. Some of the passed canapés will be vegan-friendly. Dessert will be provided.
Yes! Note: the 'Welcome Event' at Threes Brewing the night before the wedding is not open bar.
Cocktail attire is suggested but we invite you to dress up or down to your comfort level.
Subway or Lyft/Uber. We do not suggest driving since our venue does not have a parking lot.
We really want to relieve our guests of the duty of gift giving as well as minimize how much has to be carried out of the venue at the end of the evening (the bride and groom are cleanup crew, and we might all want to continue the night at another bar or restaurant). Just come and have fun and give us the gift of some happy memories!
A hotel in northern Brooklyn or lower Manhattan would put you fairly close to the venue, but most spots in the city should be ok to travel to and from by train or car. It might make sense to search for a hotel that fits your needs/wants of a hotel qua hotel and then check how it fares in terms of transportation.
NYC in early October is a beautiful time of year! The first week of October's temperatures can be as high as 68°F but it can also drop down to the low 50s during the night. We suggest having a light coat with you and make sure to check for rain day of.
There is some additional venue address and schedule information at the 'Schedule' tab in this website's navigation bar if that's helpful; otherwise please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions big or small!
