Katie has been Amanda's best friend since age 3! While the Paynes moved around the country as we were growing up, Amanda and Katie were penpals. Today Katie lives in Austin and Amanda in Philadelphia, and they take turns visiting each other every year or so. They've had many late night phone dates and have two matching tattoos. Amanda is on the left in this photo.
Jay
Best Man
One of Rich’s closest friends since Junior High, Jay’s been one of the kindest, most supportive friends through more than half of his life. They meet regularly to play tennis, video games, or just to hang out with Jay's little guys, Graham and Grayson.

Julie and Amanda became fast friends after meeting at work at a local newspaper in Williamsport, PA. Shortly after, Amanda joined Julie's roller derby team and they became derby wives (so technically this is not Amanda's first marriage) who always have each other's backs on the rink... and during their post-practice snack runs at Sheetz!

They met freshman year of college, coincidentally living in the same dorms at SJU. Living together throughout college and beyond, Bill played a big role in discovering what makes Philadelphia the best city in the world. Although he doesn't live in Philly anymore, Rich and Amanda love seeing him whenever he comes to the city!
Sam

Amanda also met Samantha working for the same newspaper - while not our favorite job, it led to amazing friendships! Sam and Amanda quickly realized they had lots in common and Sam introduced Amanda to the joys of watching hockey (the team will not be disclosed here in this, the city of our Flyers). Soon after they met, Amanda asked Sam to be her work wife (yes, she has two wives)!

A real one. They met in Junior High, and lived together throughout their 20s. Whether it be something like tennis or other passions, Ryan has been a supportive friend who has pushed Rich to be better in whatever they did together. He’s also watched many Lifetime Original Movies with Amanda. They all share a love for the Philadelphia 76ers!

Laura is Amanda's sister(-in-law) and friend. She is probably the biggest Jimmy Buffet fan you'll ever meet. Laura and Amanda love cats, true crime, and books. When she's not being a bridesmaid, you'll find her riding her John Deere tractor around her yard.

Amanda's baby brother. They went from fighting constantly as kids, to bonding over shared love of emo music as teenagers, to being lifelong friends as adults who love reading Stephen King and treating their pets like children.

Rich's older sister Adrienne is caring, thoughtful, and supportive. She also shares Amanda's embarrassing penchant for reality TV! We are excited that she and her family recently moved back to the Philadelphia area so that we can see them more often.

Olivia Mae is Head Flower Girl as she is the big sister by one full minute! She's a little shy but she has great dance moves!

Our adorable nephew Tyler will be carrying the rings for his Tito Richie and Tita Mandy. Tyler is a little bookworm who really likes sharks and choo-choo trains. He's our little buddy!

Cora Marie is our second Flower Girl. We are so lucky to have double the cuteness! Cora is our friendly girl who loves to be held.
