Wedding Party

Meet some of the special people who've given us so much of themselves and helped make us who we are today. We're proud and honored to have them walk down the aisle with us!

Kate Austin

Maid of Honor

We met through Southeastern University in the Honors Program, Theatre department, and English classes. But we really became close through working together on Anna's play, Evelina, and have stayed close, despite being 1,000 miles apart post-college.

Bethany Wilcox

Matron of Honor

We've been inseparable almost since birth! As cousins, we've grown up together and been on countless adventures together from camping trips to horseback riding and kayaking to WinShape Camps, then Bethany's wedding.

Savanna Britt

Bridesmaid

Savanna and I are like long-lost twins finding each other as adults. We almost share the same name, can wear the same clothes, share a love for gardening, sewing, and good gluten-free food, and both have tough personalities hidden by a soft exterior. When we met at Friendship Church almost 4 years ago, we soon became best friends and now "Savanna and Anna" is a common church phrase.

Sherlymar Caridi

Bridesmaid

I met Sherly before Ricardo and I started dating, but it wasn't until after we started dating that I got to know her. I knew super quickly that she would be the best sister-in-law a girl could ask for! We clicked right away and she's told me more than one embarrassing story about Ricardo only a sister could tell. I'm thankful for her graciousness, spunkiness, and welcoming heart!

Amanda Glenn

Bridesmaid

Katelyn Botta

Bridesmaid

Justan Baker

Best Man

My brother "from another mother," my partner in crime. We honestly should be siblings. I have known and been friends with Justan since fifth grade and we have "grown up together," for all that phrase encompasses. We've geeked out over Star Wars together, we've gone through the awkward middle school and high school years together, we've talked break ups and make ups together...everything. He's my main dude until the end.

Raphael Joel Twitchell

Groomsman

When they say you go to college to not only gain a degree but also lifelong friends, Raphael comes to mind. Literally one of the first people I came in contact with at SEU, we became close friends throughout our college years and afterward. We did an undergrad degree together, a masters degree together, roomed together, and soon after my wedding, Anna and I will go to attend his as I officiate it.

Jacob Britt

Groomsman

When I first came to Friendship Church, there was literally only one other young adult couple at the church, so I was glad I was able to befriend Jacob and Savanna Britt hahaha. Jacob has been my church hype man. If I ever need to be riled up for something, he is my go to guy. I'm convinced Anna and Savanna will look at the silly stuff we do together from a distance and shake their heads each time until we are old and gray. We laugh together and cry together, minister at church together each week and occasionally joust against each other on an inflatable joust for children's ministry.

Lyndal Bedford

Groomsman

The Executive Pastor at our church and my fellow musical theater nerd. Lyndal, like Jacob, is my go to hype man for anything. We minister together each week and have journeyed together through some pivotal moments of ministry and adulthood. I'm thankful to have a guy like him in my life right now. He's also my personal counselor, even if it isn't on paper hahaha.

Chris Gonzalez

Groomsman

Like Raphael, I met Chris in college as I was his assigned resident assistant for his hall and assigned dormmate my senior year of college. I never would have guessed we would become life long friends after our time together in 2017. An "everything Boston sports team(s)" lover and passionate youth and young adults minister in South Florida, seeing Chris grow as a man, believer, and leader under my wing (and after) continues to inspire me. I am convinced people who come to know him are encouraged and become better. Glad he's a part of my crew for this wedding.

Ben Tikunoff

Groomsman

I met Ben my freshman year of Southeastern University. He has been and continues to be a loyal friend. I'm thankful for Ben because he is a guy who doesn't take things seriously, which always calmed me down in situations I took too seriously in college. A gentle giant and fellow sports lover.

Lesa Yates

Mother of the Bride

Royce Yates

Father of the Bride

Aida Alvelo

Mother of the Groom

My day one (literally), my support system, my first dancing partner and confidant, Mami (Aida) Alvelo is excited to be a part of Anna and I's special day. Hard-working, hospitable, a woman of faith and laughter. Best mom ever. :) -Ricardo

Ricky Alvelo

Father of the Groom

My love of everything Star Wars, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, and funk and disco music come from Dad. Hardworking, caring, and a man of character and connection, I attribute my calling to the pastorate because of his influence in my life. He is excited to celebrate Anna and I's special day. Oh and by the way, Him and Mom met at a church camp when they were only 15 years of age and the rest is history haha (34 years of marriage.) :D Best Dad ever! -Ricardo
