Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo (ZIH) Airport

To get to Zihuatanejo, you want to fly into ZIH airport. For our guests traveling from Minnesota, Sun Country offers round-trip, direct flights from MSP to ZIH on Wednesdays and Sundays. A few other airports offer direct flights including LAX, SFO, PHX, ORD, IAH, DFW, Mexico City, Tijuana, and from Canada - Calgary and Toronto. The airport is about a 20-minute car ride to Playa la Ropa, which is the part of town that our wedding will be in.

Transportation

The main method of transportation within Zihuatanejo is by taxi. There will be plenty of taxi's at the airport when you arrive that can take you to where your accommodation is. If you wish to pre-book transportation to and from the airport, our planner Jennifer has recommended you reach out to Elois, tour operator at + 52-755-121-4430 (via Whatsapp) or eloisacobu@gmail.com. The transportation options include a 4-person compact car, standard 7-person van and luxe 7-person van. One-way and round-trip options available.
