Tyler and Bethany met online, as many millennials do these days, on Easter Sunday 2021. They spent a good amount of time at the beginning enjoying the summer, exploring the outdoors, the beach, the boardwalk, and lots of hiking! It did not take long for them to realize they shared a great amount of similar interests, goals, and morals. Along with traveling all over VA, they took many trips out of state together. Some of those trips included, Outer Banks, NC, Tennessee, Alaska, Idaho, and Utah. Exploring the country is something they both really enjoy! Family is very important to the both of them, being able to travel to see them has been a great blessing. Come August, after an amazing family vacation with the Rhoads to Alaska, they found each other ready to move in together. Bethany relocated from Chesapeake to Williamsburg to be closer to Tyler's job. Things were finally getting serious! Not long after, Tyler began to realize that Bethany "was the one." Knowing Bethany was not a very traditional style woman, he went online to do some research on unique engagement rings. Once he came upon "salt & pepper" diamonds, he knew that was what he would get. Tyler decided he wanted to make a very special proposal on Christmas Day at the top of a snowy (VERY snowy) mountain in Tamarack, ID. After a very cold, hour long ride in a side-by-side, they had arrived to almost the top. A tree was blocking the end point but it was still very high up on the mountain! Bethany had no clue that this was happening on this trip or anytime soon, it was a huge surprise! Before she tearfully said "YES!" she looked at Tyler and saw a happy and fulfilling future with him. She couldn't imagine anyone other than him to create a warm and happy family with. We hope you enjoyed reading a little bit about us and how we started - now who is ready for a wedding!?!
