Shelby and I met our first week at the University of Idaho. We were both selected to be in one of two discussion groups for the honors program. Naturally, I chose the one with the pretty girl and ended up in the same group as Shelby. Unfortunately she had a long distance boyfriend at the time and had to try to convince herself she wasn't in love with me. However, my charm, humor, and devilishly good looks proved to be too much and she dumped him six months later and we've been together ever since.

Ethan was in the same dorm as me and we ended up in the same weekly discussion group. After months of his puppy-dog eyes and writing songs for me on guitar and piano, I finally had pity on him and the rest is history.
