We're Getting Married!

First things first, this proposal was not planned, but that is what made it so special. Life was pretty crazy at the time. We were about to move out of our first home, I was working crazy night/day shifts, and we were building our new business. I was resting after a long night shift when he messaged me randomly and asked if we could go out on a date (he never called it a date, I knew something was up). We enjoyed and meal together, and he then asked if I wanted to go on a drive. He took us out to Squawk Creek, one of the places we visited most when we first started dating. He walked me out to the edge of the canyon and POPPED the question. Of course I starting crying, and then went straight faced and said "DID YOU ASK MY DAD?!"
