It’s already November!

Just over a month away! I can hardly believe it! As all the details are being finalized, I’d like to take a moment to thank all of you who will be joining us to celebrate Love! We are so so excited to be wrapping up 2018 with you all. Cheers to 2019! May it be our best year yet!

Winter Wedding Weekend

Hey all! Our big day is quickly approaching! We’ve got less than 5 months to go!!! We are planning a wonderful winter wedding weekend for y’all! We’ll begin with a welcome reception on Friday night for all of you party animals planning to spend the entire weekend with us. There will be a fabulous gourmet grilled cheese bar and prosecco bar (in addition to a regularly stocked bar) to feed us before Michael and I’s final night as singles. Following the welcome reception ladies will migrate to the Bridal Suite at the Lord Jeffery Inn and gentlemen will takeover the Marriott for a night of shenanigans! Day 2, Saturday, December 29th! Me and the ladies will occupy the Bridal Suite at 10am for afternoon tea and primping! The men will roll in and commandeer the Jack Suite to get themselves dapper and ready to go! All other guests are encouraged to explore the area and enjoy the library at the Inn. At 5 pm the night begins at Johnson Chapel. Don’t be late! I’ll try not to be ;) Followed by cocktail hour at The Lord Jeffery Inn beginning promptly at 6 pm. Dinner, dancing and merriment to follow! And food; have I mentioned that there will be lots of yummy food throughout the evening? Late night sliders mmmm! Day 3, Sunday, December 30th! Wake up and join us for a breakfast brunch beginning at 9 am. We encourage you all to come eat, relax and bid us farewell before we depart on our mini moon in Vermont 🏔 Thank you all for joining us to celebrate LOVE!

Our Story

My earliest memories of Michael are from high school. He sat behind me in geometry class and had the most ridiculous nickname for me, "bizzum". Mind you, this was the 90's and transforming words to include "izz" like Snoop Dog, was the norm. Nonetheless, he appreciated my assets back then and made me fully aware. :) After high school we didn't see one another. We ran in different circles, engaged in different activities, but were friends on Facebook. Ah, thank you Facebook! Throughout the years we'd like one another's photos, comment on each other's post, but that was the extent of our interaction. Finally, in our early thirties, we both swiped right on Tinder and started talking again. He was funny, charming, and had aged well...so well. Our first date was February 28, 2016 at Yama Sakataki ;) in Northborough. I think the both of us went on the date thinking there wasn't really a chance and oh well, we'd have a few laughs. Three hours later, sitting there with him, I didn't want to leave. He walked me to my car and asked to kiss me, I declined. He walked away thinking he'd bombed, I was floating on a cloud! Our second date was to the movies to see The Witch. Super scary, not! However, I had that adorable and obviously extremely nervous man sitting next to me so I didn't care. It took him almost the entire film to hold my hand. It was incredibly sweet! And by the dates end, we had our first kiss. To say that our time together has been easy and without its challenges would be a gross exaggeration. We've had our ups and downs and faced some things I wish we hadn't had to. In the end, through every challenge, I've found another reason to love him and appreciate everything he is. Life is built on hard times and good times. I know that Michael and I can survive the hard times with grace and love, ensuring those good times are filled with bliss.
