Aka "The Temp!" - A local favorite (and one of ours)! The Temp is fantastic for fresh seafood, steaks, and cocktails. It feels as though you are stepping back in time when you walk into the Temp - not much has changed in the 73 years it has been open. There is also an attached bar next door. Reservations recommended.
An island fixture, the Pink sits super-close to the Gasparilla Inn. It has got a great patio and an even better signature drink in the Hummer (ice cream and booze!). If you’re dining, reservations are recommended, but you can also walk into the bar/patio downstairs.
The old rail bed is now part of a paved recreational trail that meanders through some of the island’s most scenic areas. Ride a golf-cart, bike, run or walk along it's 6.5 mile length to fully enjoy the island. The path transects the middle of the island, and is accessible anywhere along its length.
Gasparilla Island has some of the best beaches in Florida, with expansive white sands and world-class shelling. Access to the beaches can be done at many points along the western side of the island. Be sure to enjoy the beaches at their best - as the sun sets across the Gulf of Mexico.
If you'd like to golf here you must be staying at The Gasparilla Inn & Club. See here for more details: https://the-gasparilla-inn.com/activities/golf/ No round of golf is ever the same on our ‘island within an island’ championship course, where gentle breezes blow in from the surrounding waters of scenic Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.
BZ’s is located on the main floor of The Inn, and is a popular gathering place to enjoy signature beverages and snacks from mid-day to late night daily. The stylish service and Old Florida charm of BZ’s will remind you of a bigone era, featuring a pecky cypress bar front and ceiling, and comfortably appointed with upholstered sofas and chairs. The adjoining outdoor terrace is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the fifth green of The Gasparilla Golf Club, as well as Charlotte Harbor in the distance. BZ’s is open to Inn guests and to the public.
Right in the middle of town—in the historic building that once served as the depot for the Charlotte Harbor and Northern Railroad—the Loose Caboose is known for their homemade ice cream! It's also a perfect casual lunch spot.
Located on the marina, Miller’s has a fun sports-bar vibe. It’s great for a burger or salad with fresh fish, a quick lunch, or a late night beer. Upstairs is Eagle Grille, a more 'formal' (by Boca standards) restaurant with excellent local catch and an excellent via of the marina & Charlotte Harbor.
