It all started in 2017 as assistant lacrosse coaches at Colby College. We became best friends, doing pretty much everything and anything together. From random trips to see the sunrise leaving at 3am and gracious rides to the Boston airport in snow storms to dancing at the local "clubs" in Waterville, eventually, we realized we were more than friends. Casey bought Dewey and lived in an apartment that didn't allow dogs, Poppy entered the chat, we became roommates, I moved to North Carolina, then moved back as an "affiliate", and then we bought our home in Gardiner.

The plan was to take a tour of the Miller Library tower at Colby College with all of our Colby friends. Prior to the tour, I almost ruined the proposal with a scheduled recruit call right at 5pm, the time of the tour. After receiving texts from just about everyone to push the call, I was coaxed to Colby, in athletic clothes, for the tour. After a climb to the top, I almost ruined the proposal once again while being on my phone. Casey handed me my Colby ID labeled "affiliate" and got down on one knee and popped the question. I immediately said yes and started crying. We are so excited to celebrate our wedding and this next step in our lives with you! See you in Portland!
