Pittsburgh Strip District
A short walk or drive from the hotels, the Strip District is one of our favorite neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. It is home to a large assortment of retailers, boutique shops, independent merchants, and several of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh. Remy & Sam visit every time they're in Pitt. Check out the famous Primanti Bro's if you're hungry for a sandwich!
Pamela's Diner
Located in the Strip District, Pamelas is Sam's favorite breakfast spot & a must have when visiting Pittsburgh. The old time diner feel is awesome & the crepe-style pancakes are to die for!
The Andy Warhol Museum
For all the art enthusiasts, there is an awesome museum a short drive away showcasing the art of the famous Andy Warhol.
Walk along the North Shore
If weather permits, a walk along the north shore showcases the Pittsburgh skyline, stadiums, and the famous bridges.
Mount Washington
Ride the incline to the top of Mount Washington to take in the breathtaking views of the city! Its a great place for a photo op!
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
The Phipps is a beautiful botanical garden, located in Oakland near the University of Pittsburgh campus, with special displays for the holiday season. It is a favorite date spot for Sam & Remy when they visit Pittsburgh.
Rivers Casino
If you're looking for a place to spend all your Christmas money look no further than Rivers Casino on the North Shore.
Carnegie Science Center
The science center was one of Sam's favorite places growing up. It has awesome science exhibits and is a fun way to spend the day & entertain kids! Check out "sports works" next door for trampolines and lots more fun.
The Rink at PPG Place
If you're looking to keep the holiday spirit alive check out the christmas tree and ice rink at PPG place! Walking distance from the renaissance hotel.
