We're getting married!

We are high school sweethearts who are so grateful for the way the Lord has blessed our lives with each other! We met at Saint Agnes School but didn’t connect until the summer after Covid, when we were both working out regularly in the weight room. We had mutual friends and all decided to have a bonfire one summer night, when John, out of the kindness of his heart, offered the seat next to him to Anna. After the first conversation, we knew we wanted to get to know each other better, so we continued to spend time together over the next few months. Over the course of the school year, we quickly became best friends, and started officially dating when Anna graduated high school. Our relationship was challenged and strengthened by long-distance, as Anna went to the University of Mary for her freshman year of college. The following spring, John graduated from Saint Agnes and decided to move into a men’s house with St. Paul’s Outreach (SPO) and go to Dunwoody College of Technology. Around the same time, Anna transferred to the University of St. Thomas and moved into the women’s house with SPO. We have spent the last two years living in community and growing in deeper relationship with one another. The Lord has blessed us abundantly with incredible friendships that have formed us and taught us to love, and we are so grateful. This past June, John proposed to Anna while on a hike in the Kinnickinnic State Park, and we are beyond excited to share our wedding day with our family and friends!
