The Wedding Website of Morgan Cox and Reid Stacell
Known for its dramatic peaks, rolling mountains, winding rivers, and energetic downtown area, Telluride is pure magic. We can't wait to share it with all of you! Neighboring Downtown Telluride is the town of Mountain Village, where you can also find many hotels, condos, and restaurants. The two towns are connected by a free Gondola, so getting around town is easy. You can easily explore the cute shops, victorian homes, and delicious local restaurants via free public transit or by foot.

Travel Note

GETTING TO TELLURIDE

Depending on your preferences, there are a few ways to get here! Note: Costs for air travel fluctuate frequently for each of the following airports, so we recommend keeping an eye on ticket prices over the next several months and grabbing the option that works best for you when you see the prices drop. Montrose-Telluride Regional Airport (MTJ) is the recommended airport for getting to Telluride. American Airlines, United Airlines, and Southwest Airlines all provide service to MTJ. It is a 1.5 hour drive from Montrose to Telluride. Shuttle service to Telluride is available by reservation and costs around $150 per-person for a round-trip ticket (https://www.telluride.com/business/telluride-express/) Other regional airport options include: Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) - Just six miles west of Telluride, in San Miguel County, Colorado. Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) - 2.5 hours from Telluride. Durango-La Plata Regional Airport (DRO) - 2.5 hours from Telluride

GETTING AROUND TELLURIDE

THE GONDOLA Whether you're planning to stay in Mountain Village or Downtown Telluride, there is a free gondola that goes between both towns, and to our venue at the top of the mountain. Gondola hours are 6:30am to 12am (until 2am on Friday & Saturday nights). GALLOPING GOOSE BUS (DOWNTOWN TELLURIDE) If you're staying on the Downtown Telluride side of the mountain, you can get around via the Galloping Goose shuttle. This free shuttle runs every 20 minutes between 7 am and midnight daily, and stops are located every few blocks. DIAL-A-RIDE SHUTTLE (MOUNTAIN VILLAGE) If you're staying in Mountain Village, you can get around via the free Dial-A-Ride Shuttle, which operates daily between 6:30am and midnight. In order to book a ride, you can call (970) 728-8888 or schedule rides via the app, which we also recommend downloading ahead of time. There is also a free bus that travels between the Meadows and Mountain Village Center.

LODGING

WHERE TO STAY The beauty of Telluride is that there are a TON of options based on your preferences. If you want a more "luxury resort" type experience, we recommend staying in Mountain Village on one side of the mountain. If you're looking more for the downtown vibe with an easy walk to restaurants and bars, we recommend staying in Downtown Telluride on the other side of the mountain. AIRBNB & VRBO Grouping up and renting together is a great and cost-effective way to *lodge in luxury* in Telluride. There are a ton of beautiful homes on Airbnb and VRBO in both DT Telluride and Mountain Village for groups of all different sizes and price points.
