Shelby's best friend- McKenna lives in Kingsport, TN. McKenna and Shelby met each other in 2nd grade at Riverbend Elementary. They have been close ever since! McKenna and Shelby grew up having sleepovers, going to football games together, and she has been there for every new milestone in Shelby's life, even from hours away.

Shelby's best friend- Rebekah lives in Colorado. She grew up in the same church youth group as Shelby, going on mission to different parts of the U.S and beyond together. Rebekah and Shelby played soccer together in high school, fish together occasionally, and have been each other's support and source of laughter for as long as they've known each other.

Shelby's cousin- Mae lives in Wilmington, NC. Mae, Shelby and their sisters put on Barbie movie and Disney princess inspired 'shows' for their parents and grandparents growing up, and has been Shelby's closest piece of home since moving to Wilmington in 2020.

Shelby's cousin- Rebecca lives in Boone, NC. She participated in many indoor and outdoor imaginary games and fort building with Shelby when they were little. She also helped her bake 'cakes' made out of mud, grass, and leaves in their grandparents' backyard growing up.

Shelby's best friend- Haley was Shelby's first roommate when she moved to Wilmington in 2020. They did everything/went everywhere together until Haley's move to Japan with her husband in 2021. Some of their favorite things to do together were flipping furniture, having movie marathons together on the couch, and making many late night Bojangles trips.

Connor's brother- Sean lives in Jersey City, NJ. They grew up closest in age out of Connor's 3 siblings. Connor and Sean grew up playing basketball most days in the driveway. Sean has been a huge role model for Connor throughout the years.
